2012 Kanawha Tennis

Kanawha provides introductory tennis programs for young children, juniors and adults. Our tennis teams and clinics are a great way to meet new people, improve your strokes and skills, and to have fun. We have several options for members to learn the game of tennis. KRA offers individual and semi-private instruction, clinics, junior camps and team play.

Updated Weather Policy

Weather decisions will be made by the tennis pro conducting the clinics. If it’s been raining the courts, will be wet and the clinic will most likely be cancelled.  Check the KRA Tennis information Facebook page to see if the pro has updated the clinic status.  If you are not sure, please go to the club and see if the clinic is being held. If there are cancellations to clinics, the Pro will determine when make-up day will be. We cannot contact all participants and let them know if a clinic is cancelled, so please contact the Pro if you are unsure.

Kanawha introduces online tennis registration. This allows members to pay via a secured KRA PayPal account. You will get immediate confirmation about the clinic that your are registering for and notification if the clinic is full. Plus, your payment will be received by KRA immediately.

Tennis Court Reservations

We continue to use our online system for registering for KRA court use. Kindly, remember to cancel your court reservation if you are not able to keep the time you have registered. This allows other members to reserve the court. Thank you!

RULES

KRA members sign-up for courts by using the ‘court reservation’ link above. Choose date, time, and court preference on the system.

You may reserve a court for up to 2 hours.

If a court is already reserved you must select another court and/time/or day.

You can schedule up to one week in advance.

You can reserve only one court once per day.

There is a limit of 2 reservations per week.

You need to put your name and contact information on the notes screen, so we can contact you if reservation has to be changed.

Your court must be claimed within 10 minutes of the reservation starting time or it may be claimed by another party.

The tennis committee can change court reservation times if needed, so check before you go to the courts.
