2012 Dive Team

The Dive team is a great summer sport for kids of all ages and levels.  We are fortunate enough to have Dougie Phillips join us for her 32nd year at Kanawha as our head dive coach! She’s a seasoned dive coach who has developed one of the most successful diving programs in the league. Dougie has a wonderful team of assistants, both current and former divers, who help with the daily coaching duties and practices.  Safety is foremost and fun is next.

There are 7 meets this season, followed by Champs and All-Stars.  We have a big Pep Rally and Pizza Party, June 19th,  before our first meet (June 21st). On July 18th, we will have a “Cupcake Meet” for our younger divers who are not ready to compete in regular meets.  And finally, our Awards Banquet Celebration will be on July 19th. Champs and All-Stars is scheduled for July 23,24, & 25th.
